BUZZD is a social event discovery application operated by BUZZD LLC ("BUZZD," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the BUZZD mobile application and related services.

By using BUZZD, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

• Name and email address when you create an account
• Account credentials, managed securely through our authentication provider (Supabase Auth)
• Profile photo, username, and Instagram handle if you choose to provide them
• Phone number, if you choose to provide it
• Greek organization affiliation and membership, if you choose to join or be added to an organization
• Payment information when purchasing tickets. Payment card details are processed directly by our third-party payment processor (Stripe) and are not stored on BUZZD's servers
• Event listings, photos, and content you post as an organizer
• Social connections: when you send or receive friend requests, or create or join event groups, we store the connection and membership status between accounts
• Emergency contacts: if you set up a safety network, we store the names and usernames of up to three (3) BUZZD users you designate as emergency contacts. This information is stored on our servers (via Supabase) and cached on your device so the feature works reliably
• Communications you send through the app

Information collected automatically

• Device information including device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers
• IP address and general location data
• App usage data including screens viewed, features used, and time spent
